Break free of break fast rules

I tried something very daring this morning (well in food terms anyway!)

I had for breakfast, two pork loin steaks, two large mushrooms and some steamed curly kale!

It looked like a typical British evening meal but for breakfast. I guarantee that is I told people about this, they would look at me like I was mental!

Why not have vegetables for breakfast? Why have we been conditioned to believe that the only source of breakfast food is fatty dairy products or sugary cereals?

The result on my energy levels was great and I started the day with an excellent of nutrients that are present in kale.

I admit it did feel odd but this is helping me with my energy levels and also I losing body fat in a healthy way by moderating grains and dairy. I used to have porridge every morning, which, in hindsight, made me sluggish.

In my opinion there is nothing massively unhealthy about muesli, porridge or whole wheat cereals, it may be worth challenging traditional eating habits particularly if you have reached a weight loss plateau.

It may be a culture shock and you may get the odd strange look but be brave and you never know the results!
